Others may see broken, I choose to see beautiful

My Journey

From the age of 9 years old, I've had a burning desire to be different from most. Not necessarily through status, material items, or an inflated ego. However, determined to use the odds that were stacked against me as motivation versus a crutch. I wanted MORE!

I wanted a life where " thinking outside the box" was considered BRAVE. A life that included VISION, PASSION, and being of SERVICE to others. I longed to find others that I could surround myself with that not only set goals beyond imagination but also wasn't afraid to go after them. Limited beliefs, excuses, and accepting living only one way wasn't for me.

But don't let me fool you. This did not come easy! As years progressed, so did the hurdles of life lessons. Just because I yearned for a brighter path ahead and believed to my core it was absolutely possible, doors didn't instantly open, nor did I find myself on an instant path to success.

Instead, I discovered that working long hours, simply having dreams, and only setting goals was indeed not enough. I was a mother of two by 23, divorced and a single parent barely over the age of 30 and found myself entangled in financial hardship. Also, not accounting for variable change once back in the mainstream business culture, things definitely became much more complex and demanding.  And ....Ohhhh  Yesssss....let's not forget all the meanwhile constantly praying for the strength to stay committed to not becoming what others thought I "would" or "should" be.

However, despite all the above, I humbly yet proudly want to share, my greatest accomplishment during that season of life, was I did NOT give up! Instead, I chose to fight for my boys as well as my future. I stayed dedicated to lead by example and devoted that nothing can stop me. I taught my boys and others along the way, it's never too late to become a better version of "Yourself". Do NOT let your past hinder your future. Yet be "Thankful" for the steppingstones.

Most importantly, honor the gifts God gave you not only for your own personal benefit, but to help others grow and discover their worth as well!
